G-Jali Overview
G-Jali is a comprehensive digital platform aimed at addressing the critical issues of HIV, Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH), and other emerging health concerns among adolescents and young people in Kenya. Leveraging Kenya’s high internet penetration and the widespread use of digital media, G-Jali offers a multi-sectoral approach to social behaviour change communication. The platform synergizes responsive and contextually appropriate messaging that resonates with young audiences in urban and rural settings. Through interactive content, such as the “Open Secrets” web series, digital posters, and engaging social media campaigns, Jijali educates and empowers the youth to make informed decisions about their health and well-being.
Partnerships
Partnerships are at the core of G-Jali’s success, enabling the platform to extend its reach and impact across diverse communities. By collaborating with government agencies, non-profit organizations, media houses, and digital influencers, Jijali ensures its content is credible and widely accessible. These partnerships facilitate pooling resources, expertise, and networks, allowing G-Jali to maintain a dynamic and adaptive approach to addressing Kenya’s youth’s evolving health challenges. Additionally, partnerships with local and international organizations have enhanced G-Jali’s ability to scale its initiatives, bringing new perspectives and innovations that drive the campaign’s effectiveness. Through strategic alliances, G-Jali continues to build a strong foundation for sustainable health communication and behaviour change among the next generation.
